Project 5 Task 1

There are several benefits of blogging for students.  Blogging is not limited to high school students, once students learn how to write they can contribute to a blog.  Students are able to share thoughts and ideas on blogs, while other students can provide positive and constructive feedback.  Blogs are a good way to track students engagement with one another.  Classroom blogging builds this 21st century skill, while prompting students to write in complete sentences while collaborating with their classmates.  Another benefit of  students blogging and responding is that the blog can be shared with parents, administrators/principals, district supervisors and superintendents so they can have a view into your classroom and see the success your students are having.   Click on the link below to access PDC Professional Development Courses
